A NEW PERSPECTIVE…….NEW INSIGHT!

            A young aspirant for the Defence Forces was asked to air his views on the subject  “Why join the Defence Services and why not the Corporate world? Prompt was the summation….. Sir, “to gain a new perspective to LIFE and new insights to LEADERSHIP, with men placed under Command… in service to the NATION”

            Indeed true! The Services Selection Board looks out for such candidates and for those who have the guts who mean what they say and stand for their Perspective. It is these raw students from the civvy street, with widely diverse backgrounds that our Premier training Academies of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and higher institutions mould them to a common platform of confident and self assured leaders; competent and capable of leading men into battle, in the service of the Nation.

            Academies relentlessly pursue excellence in meticulously planning structured yet flexible training regimes, keeping in mind the enormous complexities of the modern world including IT as a tool of adding value to training and training to face aggressive conflict environment of ever changing fleeting warfare!
