Steps to improve Spoken English

Candidates should have a good command over Spoken English when they proceed for SSB. Following measures can be adopted by the candidates to improve their Spoken English:

Read an English newspaper daily.

Mark any word you have not understood.

Look for the meaning in the dictionary and read the same sentence again.

Listen to any Indian English bulletin & BBC bulletin in TV for 15 minutes daily.

Practice reading any English passage in front of a mirror for 15 minutes.

Discuss any current topic with friends for half an hour daily.

Let one good friend correct your spoken grammatical English on a daily basis.
