Underwater search operation for missing IAF AN-32 aircraft terminated

The underwater search operation of IAF transport aircraft AN-32, that went missing with 29 crew, has been terminated. No survivals have been located yet.

"As of now no debris or survivors have been found... 13 Naval vesels, 2 coast guard ships besides assets from Andaman and Nicobar islands are engaged in the operations." Coast Guard Commander (East) Inspector General Rajan Bargotra told a press conferrence.

"We have not been able to locate debris or survivors in the seas," he said.
