2nd SAARC Anti-Terrorism Mechanism held in New Delhi

Recently, delegation from all eight SAARC member countries participated in the conference to strengthen the SAARC Anti-Terrorism Mechanism, conducted in New Delhi.

Agenda of the meeting;

- Issues of terrorism and the measures to strengthen the SAARC anti-terrorism mechanism.

- Monitoring of SAARC Terrorist offences monitoring desk and a SAARC Drug Offensic Monitoring Desk (SDOMD).

- Discussion over the important issues like human resource development, combating corruption, drugs trafficking, financing of terrorism and cyber crimes.

SAARC: The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) is regional intergovernmental organization and geopolitical union in South Asia.
