G-20 Summit 2016

On 4th and 5th September 2016, eleventh meeting of the Group of Twenty  (G-20) was held in the city of Hangzhou. It was the first G20 summit hosted by China and second Asian country after South Korea (G20- 2010)


Official statements of the summit:

·         Fight against tax evasion (asking the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development for a black list of tax heavens).
·         Favour international trade and investments and opposition to protectionism.
·         Fiscal stimulus and innovation to boost economic growth.
·         Combating "populist attacks" against globalisation.
·         Strengthen support for refugees.
