Recently President of Egypt, Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi visited India. During his visit President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee held a meeting with him and discussed issues of mutual concerns.
President Al-Sisi attended a business event where he delivered a keynote address and invited the Indan businessmen to explore new and emerging business opportunities in Egypt.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his meeting with Al-Sisi, decided to intensify the bilateral relationship based on the three pillars of closer political and security cooperation, deeper economic engagement, and scientific collaboration and wider cultural and people-to-people contacts.
The recent exchanges on security cooperation and counter terrorism was also welcomed.
Agreement also covers the expansion of Indian Investment in Egypt.
