Indian Navy wins Admiral's Cup 2014

The Indian Naval Academy (INA) team received the first prize in the Admiral’s Cup Sailing Regatta at the INA at Ezhimala in Kannur on Saturday. Bahrain and United Kingdom came second and third respectively.

This was a 3 day event with total 9 races in which 36 participants were there including three women participants from Australia and Germany.

The following teams participated in this event: Australia, Bangladesh, Bahrain, China, Egypt, France, Fiji, Germany, India, Mauritius, Oman, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, UAE, United Kingdom and USA.

Chief guest Vice Admiral Ajit Kumar P, Commandant, INA, presented the Admiral's Cup and individual prizes to the winners.
